This mobile secure browser from the American Institutes for Research® ensures a secure online testing experience for students taking online assessments. When the mobile secure browser is launched, users cannot switch to other applications, including other web browsers, nor can they perform certain hardware functions, such as taking screenshots. This operating system is not supported for use with the current Mac Secure Browser (version 12.5). CAI plans to release an additional Mac Secure Browser (version 13) that will support macOS 10.15.4 'Catalina' and macOS 11 'Big Sur' including support for Automatic Assessment Mode. Devices running macOS 10.11 through 10.15.3 will continue.
On 11/12/20, Apple released macOS11 'Big Sur.' This operating system is not supported for use with the current Mac Secure Browser (version 12.5). On 11/16/20, Apple released a new Macbook Air, Macbook 13', and Mac Mini that have a new processor at their core, which CAI does not currently support. CAI plans to release an additional Mac Secure Browser (version 13) that will support macOS 10.15.4 'Catalina' and macOS 11 'Big Sur' including support for Automatic Assessment Mode.
TA Certification Live
The Test Administrator (TA) Certification course is now available for 2020-2021. All users who plan to administer the NDSA must take the TA Certification course, regardless of their user role in TIDE. If you have taken the TA Certification course in the past, you are required to complete the course again for the 2020-2021 school year in order to administer NDSA. The course can be accessed from the NDSA Assessment page of the portal.

The TIDE Users module is now open for the 2020-2021 NDSA. Users may now activate their TIDE account for this school year.
Mobile Secure Browser 2020-21
The 2020-21 Mobile Secure Browsers for ChromeOS and iOS are available to download.
Note: The 2019-20 Mobile Secure Browsers will be available until August 31st. Android will no longer be supported after August 31st.

Air Secure Browser Test
Attention: This is a reminder that below grade-level interim eligibility will be removed for all students effective December 31, 2020. Upon return from winter break, interim eligibility will be for current grade-level interims only. Interim eligibility can be modified in TIDE after December 31, 2020; however, the modification process requires a school administrator to manually edit the eligibility of one student at a time. Please consult with your school coordinator and/or district coordinator for further information.
